Play Therapy

Play therapy is one of the most effective forms of therapeutic interventions for a range of children’s issues. A trained play therapist will tap on your child’s natural language of play to help them process complicated emotions and experiences that they may not otherwise be able to express.

Attachment-Focused Therapy

Attachment-Focused Family Therapy is a clinically proven approach targeted at improving the relationship between yourself and your child. Care-givers are provided a safe and nurturing environment to understand and appreciate the impact of early trauma on children. The therapist works with your child to learn affect regulation, help your child to correct distorted beliefs, and equip your child with prosocial skills. The therapist works closely with you to build a secure base in the therapeutic relationship which facilitates re-building a safe and secure relationship between you and your child.

Sandplay Therapy

Sandplay is a modality of play therapy that can be utilised by children and adults alike. It uses a combination of the selection of symbols and a sand tray to contain the conscious and unconscious material of the client, the psyche or inner world of the client. The sand tray holds the inner conflicts and tensions, dreams and aspirations, while the client is free to express with words and stories or simply leave their work in the sand. The process of working with the sand and symbols unearths inner resources and resilience within the client to bring about transformative change.
